Hotel Madera Washington

I was drawn to the National Air and Space Museum, so I chose Madera due to its ideal location. However, the weekly farmers' market impressed me with its diverse range of fresh goods. The property's prime location near Dupont Circle, charming neighborhood, and attentive staff enhanced my stay.

Elevators barely big enough.

During our visit to the picturesque Foggy Bottom area, we thoroughly enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere and the welcoming outdoor spaces. The southernmost point of Rock Creek Park was an absolute delight for our active family, offering delightful trails for running and biking, as well as opportunities for water-based activities. Additionally, our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations, providing a perfect base for our adventures.

My wife says that the hotel should offer more kid-friendly dining options.

All in all everything was excellent, had a very good stay for the two nights of our stay. The rooms were contemporary with balconies, the staff were attentive.

It was definitely 4 stars for me: staff and location were nice! I liked the room, the bed was good. Just a 15-minute walk away there was Dupont Circle tube station.

The front desk staff were pleasant and quick. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the metro and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The beds were super comfy with high-quality bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep. The entire hotel was spotless and impeccably clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

We stayed at Hotel Madera for three nights during our sightseeing trip to Dupont Circle. The front desk staff was exceptional, offering valuable recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Our spacious room had a beautiful view from the balcony and a comfortable bed. The Firefly restaurant connected to the hotel served delicious dinner. The location was excellent, close to the Metro and a variety of shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and had convenient water filling stations on each floor.

Let me tell ya, The Madera had us boppin’ with local delights! Picture this: a room so clean you could eat off it, and the decor was like a modern dream. Plus, the staff treated us like family, with dog beds ready for our fur babies. And ooh, that balcony—what a vibe! Nearby joints like The Mansion on O Street and Grillfish were flavor-packed wonders.

Now, listen to this juicy bit: the hotel was sassier than a southern belle. The water had a hint of mildew, and the missing lobby felt like a mystery novel twist.

We loved the location of this place! It was so convenient to have the Metro, Phillips Collection, and fantastic restaurants all within walking distance. The daily happy hour in the lobby was a nice bonus too. The staff here were exceptional and the hotel restaurant, Firefly, was very good as well.

We personally found the breakfast options to be a bit excessive. The fruit bowl and yogurt bowl were both huge, and we ended up wasting some of the food.

Convenient & fairly clean hotel, it was in an ideal location, has consistently courteous staff. I loved that the room was contemporary. They offered continental breakfast, it was outstanding.

The room was so cozy and well-stocked, the kids loved the organic snacks and I appreciated the ergonomic desk chair. The luxurious bath amenities made me feel like I was at a spa!

I found the Bluetooth speaker a bit overwhelming, but others might enjoy it.

I recently stayed at a boutique hotel in the heart of Dupont Circle for a week-long visit to D.C. Madera exceeded my expectations with its large, comfortable rooms featuring classy design elements. The bathroom was spacious and had a well-lit mirror and a fantastic walk-in shower with perfect water pressure and temperature control. The sitting area had a stylish modular sofa, marble-topped coffee table, and a thoughtful desk with a chair. The staff, especially Ice, Deju, Maggie, Robert. The location was ideal, just steps away from the Dupont Metro and surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in this vibrant neighborhood.

Our stay at Madera was fantastic! The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a comfy bed and large windows that let in lots of natural light. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the city from our balcony. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and the Metro. The amenities, like the tea/coffee pot and mini fridge, were convenient. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

the location is quiet, away from traffic so you can park a car. easy to get everywhere from there by bike or electric skateboards that are rented for an App (very fun).

breakfast is not included but that's normal in these places. Also, it is preferable to go out for breakfast in the area because there are many nice places.

Loved the spacious lounge, perfect for my extravagant cocktail reception of 40. Also enjoyed the brand new fitness center with all its fancy equipment - felt like a fitness goddess.

Oh, and the view from my room? Who needs beautiful scenery when you can stare at huge AC fans?

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any issues or requests. The location of the hotel was great, with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive, with everything well-maintained and tidy.

One downside of the hotel was the lack of a television in the lobby seating area or bar. I was hoping to watch a game before heading to the airport, but there was no TV available.

The bathroom is narrow and a bit run down but very clean. There is no full size mirror to see the entire room. The lobby is very small.

The hotel is also near the subway, making it easy to get around the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Spacious room with balcony with pleasant view (7 floor). Located 2 steps from Dupont Circle and subway (red), many buses but not tested. subway allows you to go everywhere and is very simple. Super bedding, wifi works, small snack at the end of the afternoon. To recommend for a stay of a few nights, quite close to restaurants and shops, become rare as soon as you get closer to the sites to visit.
